Abe Funk grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan, Canada. His first church experience as a new believer was in a small church where a pastor mentored him and allowed him to experiment with ministry and leadership. His pastoral ministry began in Minnesota in a small town. He served as a District Minister, a church planter, and as Executive Director of the Baptist General Conference of Canada for eighteen years. Abe has a passion to help small churches to be healthy and effective. |
